996 Power Intake Plenum
I called RSS yesterday to confirm, and they did, that the Plenum for a 2001 996 can also be used for a 997S. I was considering taking the one from my 996 so I could lower my asking price on it. Only problem is that my dealer told me I would void the warranty on my 997.
WARDHOG. It depends on the wording of the warranty! Not EVERY warranty has the same terms and conditions.
Although the plenum is NOT a major mechanical change and neither is a cold air filter.
But I suspect if you turbo charge or supercharge the engine it WILL void most warranties.

Not sure if im allowed to mention companys that are not listed on the side, bet there is one out there on the wed offereing 15% off the plenum making it $845.75 Not a horrible price

Please share this info. I just picked up an EVOMS v-flow and would like to change out to plenum at the same time.
PM me the details to. Do they accept paypal?

You may want to post this question over on one of the Turbo forums. You are talking about boost pressure, right? I don't see how the RSS intake plenum would cause a reduction in boost. Something else must have happened during the installation. Maybe a loose hose clamp or something? Just guessing here since I only have a normally aspirated '99 Cabrio.
