T-

Holy SH&T brother. Thankfully everyone walked away without scratches. I'm amazed you are still insured after 6 wrecks.

If the wifey lets you, come on down with "COHARE" to the megameet cuz I gotta hear how it all happened in person.

Keen observation on the tires. A front/rear grip differential can give the immutable Laws of Physics an advantage as the tires approach 100% of grip avail under load; especially in a hairpin. Perhaps the tire choices contributed to how the fronts became the pivot axis in this case.

In any case, very glad to hear you are okay Tshack, and that nobody was hurt. Good luck with the missus!

It's amazing that you just walked away from that. I'm curious why the steeringwheel air bag didn't go off?

No frontal impact, that’s why. Those side bags have sensors in the doors, and look at the doors. Those extendible roll bars have tilt sensors. Someone at Porsche is looking at this and smiling that they did their job and your ok. Sports/exotic car totals are up to some huge percentage so its not like it’s the first. It’s a good time to be in the auto recycling market!

So sorry to hear about your accident but nice to see you are alive and well. I noticed that you have two different brands of tires on your car. Maybe that is part of the factor on why your rear end kicked out from you. Well I don't know but just speculating on that's what have may have contribute to the accident.

Tires could have played a part, but I have never lost control like that. There was another accident same place the next day. There are leaves and some farm debris on the road too. Joy. I came out of the corner under 30mph and spun the *** to the left, paniced over corrected and spun to the right and that was it...hit the guardrail on the passenger side and spun off the embankment landing *** first hence the damage to the rear. Ill post pics of the site later...havent wanted to go back yet.

FYI the other accidents (I was mistaken, it was only 5 totaled cars now) werent my fault. And no, defensive driving wasnt an option...I was rear ended, tboned twice from people who ran red lights and hit head on by a lady who came across the double yellow.

Wife couldnt really be too pissed, she was more upset because she never learned to drive stick shift and she enjoyed our drives.

As for a replacement, Ill keep my expedition for work, and I think we will pay off the wedding and upgrade her civic for the immediate future, and hopefully next summer Ill be able to get another pcar. Im thinkin a white 997 has my name on it.
