NEED HELP with new spoiler ASAP

I am replacing my spoiler on a 2000 C2 with the aero spoiler. It looks like I need extra brackets. Also, how do I wire it? Do I cut the wires to the original motor? Help ASAP

I know what you did - you got a "carrera" tail right ? There are 2 diff varients of this one for model years 2003-present and one for pre 03 cars - they changed to the bolt patterns on the 03's decklids - return it if you can or else you with have to fabricate custom brackets to hold it in place

I got the spoiler that was for the cab so it is only the actual spoiler replacement, not the decklid. I just do not know how to wire it so that the break light works and the light in the car does not show the spoiler problem. Also, what pieces do I reuse?

The status now is that the body shop has the third brake light working but does not know how to deactivate the light on the dash. Is there some sort of wiring harness that I needed? Is there some way to ground a certain wire or something like that to turn off the light?
