Look forward to seeing the CGT pics. August still?

I'm getting some lag between 5500-6000 also. more noticable in 1st and 2nd gears when flat out. if I bring the rpm's up slow there doesn't seem to be a problem

Unfortunately, the lag between 5500-6000 RPMS is due to the vario ram change over. When you look at the stock power curve, there is a dip in power and torque between 5500-6000 rpm's. This dip in power cannot be felt as easily when the car is stock. With the supercharger installed, this change over of the variable intake runner length can be felt due to the increase in airflow in the manifold. We are looking into a way to open this valve sooner so that the lag is decreased. I will have my SC'd 996 on the dyno next week testing some different ways to open the vario ram sooner. I will keep you posted as to my findings.

Todd, have you guys tried different cams to get more power out of the 3.4 engine, especially more low end torque? would this be cost effective?

supercharger is still adding a smile to my drives. 60-120mph from 3gear is great. off the line is also much differnt. planning to race my brothers SL55AMG soon. hope my weight advantage will mean alot.

enjoying driving the car with the PSM button off most of the time.

the car handles incredible with the PSS9's and T/A Sways. RPMRacing did a great job setting that up.

(Devil's advocate question) Why wouldn't the owners go for a twin-turbo kit instead of the supercharger kit?
I have installed and ran the supercharged 996's and it is a kick in the pants. If you want to finally beat the mustang cobras and corvette guys that have been embarrasing you since you bought the car then you gotta get one. It is real solid power with an great power band. Not like a turbo that is only an animal after 4500 RPM's. Superchargers start boosting almost from the get and talk about expensive go price out a twin turbo kit for a 996 if you can find one they are 2-3 times the price. Add Pss9's and you got your self a real fun car.
