hey whats up guys!! im new to the porsche scene anyway to make this short i was really intrested in looking for a carrera 4s an 03 but the thing is i have a budget for about 45k max and most of the ones i have seen have heavey miles on them like 50k 60k i was wondering do you think im looking to get myself into a money pit? am i going to get stuck with machanicle problems? im not a daily driver since i commute on a train everyday.are they reliable? any info would be great to hear from you pro's...thanks again for your time cheers!

 

If the car's well maintained then you should be fine. If not, then even a 15k mile car would be a problem.

Check service history. Also, get a PPI.

 

Also as with any used car, allocate 10-20% of sale value just incase of "problems".

You should also be aware that even a pristine example these cars are not cheap to maintain.

You MUST you synthetic oil, Rear tires last 7000-10000 miles the most just to name a few things....
