12k miles in 5 months in Los Angeles. No complaints at all. Enough storage space up front and back seat when needed. Ride is plenty compliant, especially in non-sport mode.

I don't know what principle your talking about but your wife thought it was a great idea. She said she will still prefer to service me in my Range Rover though

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to visit the porsche dealer on Saturday and see how I like it. Glad to see others who have decided to make their 997TT daily drivers aren't regreting it.

Not to hijack, but when'd you get it Doc? I've been looking forward to your cobalt tt thread. Congrats either way.

Thanks! I picked it up about 2 weeks ago. I haven't had the time to take some proper pics...

Awesome, looking forward to it.

Back to the topic, I can't see a better daily driver, unless you need 4 doors.

Hopefully you have the Murci in the garage for this rain that is about to hit the great northwest. Are you considering anything other then the TT as a daily?

When I purchased my turbo last year, I felt the sport mode was a little stiff.

Now, the first thing I do after starting the car is to switch the sport mode on.

I drive quite a bit and I don't ever feel "beaten up".

The wife thinks sport mode is a little stiff though.

im graduated....so there is no school principle...and he was on my case just for the hell of it...it had nothing to do with speed...it was actually because of what the car was..."A CORVETTE" and the color it was and how much attention it got...and secondly...police...im sure they've been on everyones case a few times so nothing to get too excited about
