Considering a 997 turbo...a couple of questions

Hi

I have the numbers and the trade all worked out if I decide to go this waay on a white/beige 997 turbo well optioned.

I drove it yesterday at length and noticed I could not get comfortable in the seat. I am not big nor small, but I do lift weights and have wider than normal shoulders for my height. I must have tried every position but in the back of my mind I was thinking I am paying 130k for a car I don't feel comfortable in.

Did I miss something? I believe these are the standard seats, not sport.

I don't want to go aftermarket after just buying the car either.

The electronic suite is a major disappointment and they said next year will be an improvemnet ( they hope) Driving the RS4 and the TT are two ends of the spectrum for sure but you certainly expect some of the technology considering the price. I also drove the AMG Black series, great car even handles very well for a MBZ but the depreciation and price were unbelievable, 50% in 2 years!

I was hoping someone else had the same exp. on the seats.

Thanks much, great, great cars.

See if they have a car with adaptive seats and try them. I'm 56 years old, 6'2 and 265 pounds and I'm very very comfortable with the adaptives. Have the wide shoulders but also about 25 pounds too much (wide ***).

Adaptive seats are a must.

As far as electronics -your correct BMW/Audi and even Merc are better, but I have aftermarket phone/bluetooth, Sirius .. good enough for me.

The performance of the car more than makes up for it.

Alright stud, you can't drop a bomb like that without giving us your bench and squat totals

Electronics? Me thinks you have the wrong car.....It took them 36 years to implement a cup holder......Its a sportscar, not an entertainment center

That is funny.

You're right, it was not the car for me, I bought a M5 tonight.

Thanks everyone.
