How exactly does overboost work? Pressing sport chrono gives you 10 seconds of overboost but does it reset everytime you stop so you can have multiple overboost episodes or is it a one time boost per activation of sport chrono mode? Does the counter start as soon as the turbos kick in or is it only with WOT at max boost?

 

After you activate the button you have to rapidly move the gas pedal to the floor. By doing this it senses you are wanting to accelerate rapidly and a little arrow appears in the screen on the dash. It will maintain over boost from 2-5K then come down. It will do this for as many times as you activate for 10 seconds and or until EGTs become high and the ECU dials back the boost.
