Question on sound when shutting off..

Wondering what the two servo sounds are that occur just seconds after the engine is shut off. They are about a second delayed from one another. I know there is nothing wrong, just curious to what is going on.

I was curious about this as well. We need some gearheads to educate us.

No responses yet? Ya think we're the only ones with this "problem/question"? Guess I'll have to ask the dealer next time I drop by.

OTOH, because it's a cha ching sound, maybe it's Porsche's way of rubbing it in.

I don't get it at start up but on shutdown it can sometimes feel abrupt. If you have the timing down you can almost eliminate it (at least it seems that way). I am sure someone has an explanation?? i also notice when I wash my car the (or immediately afterwards) the engine timing belt makes a slipping noise briefly then goes away.
