Ownership advice requested.....

I am looking for a fun, quick, great handling daily driver all weather car. I have been planning on a med modded 03 to 05tt but got caught up in the 997tt excitement at the dealer I visited.
Can any owners offer advice on the value of the upgrade?
Specific driving differences?
Any cons?
I am seeing that a good car can be had in the low 120's so the price difference could be almost $60k I guess.
TIA, John

The 996TT is the bargain of the century right now, but nothin' beats new. the TT platform(993/996/997) makes anawsome all weather daily driver.
How 'bout a pic of that goat, I can't tell you the amount of early pontiac v8's I built back in the day.

Yes, I agree, bargain prices for sure. Not sure if I would rather spend more on a daily kind of car or less and have more for the wierd and exotic!!

kcturbo is infamous around these parts
I just picked up my 997 TT Cab today. The difference between it and my 996 TT Cab is remarkable. I liked my 996. I already love my 997. If you are able to drive both cars I feel that your decision will be made. Good Luck!
