I love the oval lights, but I think they use the same ones on the VW bug.
I think if the 911 is still around in a few years it wont be their flagship model any more.
as others agree, I see a mid engine v8.

I would love for Porsche to reach further upmarket with the 998. Take the fight to Aston Martin and Bentley with even better interior design & materials. Take the fight to Ferrari with lighter & more exotic materials. I know this next statement will ruffle the feathers of purists but: Time to do away with the rear engine – IF – ultimately it will be a better car all around with a mid-engine design. It kills me to see Audi hold back the R8 because it would crush the Gallardo, 911, etc…<O

And another thing: I’m all for the environment, always have been, but I hope they don’t hold back increasing the displacement of whatever engine they put in the 998 just to try and satisfy the eco-terrorists. <O</O
