More AWE Tuning Tip Pictures

People have been requesting more pictures of our new 997TT tips shot from different angles to show how far they protrude.

Here are a couple more shots. Please excuse how dirty the car is. The weather has not been cooperating lately around here for car washing.

As you can see, they do not stick out any further than stock.

More info on our holiday sale on these tips in conjunction with our muffler system can be found here:

Any questions, let us know.

These look great! Any issues with discoloration after some use? I had cargraphic tips but they turned brown from the superheat emitted. I couldn't remove them no matter what I did. Somehow the stock tips seems to be able to resist discoloration. I'd be curious as to whether your tips does the same (especially the chrome version).

Hi Jason,

The actual tips in the above pictures have seen multiple days of track use in addition to street use. No discoloration on the outside due to the double wall construction.

The silver tips are not chromed, they are polished 304 stainless steel.

The Diamond Black tips are the same tips with a black chrome coating. That finish has also been extensively track tested for durability, so no worries there either.

FYI, these tips will only fit our mufflers at this time. We are debating releasing in the future a generic tip to fit any muffler.

Thanks for the compliment.

Todd,

Thanks for pointing that out. I'd probably be interested in a set of tips if you guys do manage to come out with a set for other exhaust systems.

I wonder what the factory does differently to avoid discoloration?
Different 'polishing/chroming' process???

crd is infamous around these parts
Me, too.

I took a look at the car and wanted to get one more impression of the sound before making my decision to go with AWE's exhaust. The tips look great. Top notch construction. The exhaust is just right for me - order in. Black tips.

Here's the kicker. Mike R took me out for a ride to demonstrate cockpit noise levels, and to show off the whole package (ECU, turbos, exhaust, Motons, etc.) HOLY S--T!!! We think our turbos are fast, but this sucker absolutely flies!!! Almost too much for some drivers, I'm sure. Absolutely incredible. I might need to start looking for a second job so I can get this upgrade.

BTW, great folks to deal with as some of you know.
