In the 996's the vents blew, and the heater and defroster worked. I don't know about the 997's.

Hi David (dmundy),
I seem to run into you at the race track and then some suprising places (like on this forum). See you at Sebring in March. Are you going to the SCCA race next week in Sebring? We are going mainly for the test days. The IMSA test is not the full course, so we are doing the test days Thursday and Friday before the SCCA race.

Wow.

My old 993 with 3.8 smelled pretty good though. :-)

that shift lever pulls straight back to upshift and forward to down shift = sequential transmission.

Thanks for the explanation. I was looking at the way the shifter was hinged and was trying to figure how it could do anything but go forward and backwards. You answered before I asked the question.

Ron

We upgrade the following:

Engine
Gearbox
Dampers
Aerodynamics
Wheels
Brakes
Data Acq

Just to name a few.

Someone else asked about what we do for maintenance from race to race.

We completely go through the cars and inspect everything and replace anything that might be suspect. A lot of the components do have a life based on hours.

Hope that helps.

I will post some more pictures of the build as it progresses.
