Well luckily we dont have to deal with any Ferrari's in our series.
With the arrival of the NEW RSR things will hopefully be different in ALMS

Let's just say I can't wait to drive this new '08 Cup car! We sold our 2006 Speed GT Spec 997 Cup car to a client who will run with us for a total of 3 cars in Speed GT for 2008. I will have a new one and Dino Crescentini will be driving the other new one as we sold him the second '08 Cup car.
The cars get about $100K in upgrades to make then as fast as an RSR but then we run the spec Toyos for Speed GT and that takes about 4-5 seconds off from the Michelin slicks and makes them even harder to drive.
Nonetheless, we at GMG are pumped for the 2008 season.........stay tuned.
And if you want to see what the sequential gearbox looks like in a 997 Cup car, here is a small clip of me from Laguna: http://www.youtube.com/swf/l.swf?vid...0f0f0&border=0

there are definitely a couple of "one" offs of turbos, but the couple cars I have seen were NA to start with and were TTed and widebodied or a car like the gt2r in europe (the redbull car). I dont think anyone has really tried yet...
