black lug bolts?

Hi guys,

I finally got some black wheels for my turbo, but I need some black lug bolts. I remember someone (was it you atomic80?) that said they got OEM black lug bolts. I called Suncoast and they say Porsche doesn't make the bolts in black.

So does anyone have recommendations for where I can get some quality black lug bolts? I remember hearing that some brand was not a perfect fit and the bolts get loose over time, which is way too scary for me.

Thanks guys! and I'll post some pics of the wheels soon

Ralph Boothe and Ruf both sell kits that replace lug bolts with studs and come with black lug nuts. Other folks have powder coated a set of OEM lug bolts. Call Ralph - he can point you in the right direction.

I would advise AGAINST going with the lugnuts from Boothe Design. Theirs has the wrong chamfer angle so the contact points are not evenly distributed. Mine came loose a couple times as a result. I ended up going with black OEM lug nuts + locking nuts from the 993 with RUF wheel studs. So, if you do want Porsche black OEM nuts then that's what you'd have to do. It does make mounting the wheels easier because then you wouldn't have to use those wheel hangers.
