Went for a drive today out where Grumman's old plant used to be and adjacent to the property is this little "memorial"

Check out the saying on the edge of the Tomcat's wing: "Grim Reaper" Awesome!

"Grim Reapers" is the name of F-14 Squadron VF-101. The squadron name is painted on the jet, and the squadron patch (the "Reaper") is painted on the tail...

With slate being darker you'll obviously get more dust, etc. than with GT. Looks wise that's subjective. I liked GT but like slate better.
