No white... just silver.....
Damn.... one minute I am sitting next to you in Court and then I get back to the office and you have posted already!! Way to stay on top of things John.... Now find me some mods!
Brett,
Sorry I couldn't answer this earlier, but HBL in Tyson's Corner, Virginia has a white 997 turbo on the floor. Black interior, white deviating stitching, and the standard turbo wheel have their interior sections in body color. The grills, lower valence panels are painted white, as well. If I remember correctly, they are asking $136K for it.
Cheers

The long day is over... and she is nestled in the garage next the Benz. I was able to break away from work today and run down to Melbourne to finally meet Horst. What a nice dealership! The numbers had already been done and the car was paid for I just needed to inspect it and go. Horst was kind enough to walk me through all of the systems with full explanations, showed me all of the operations of the electronics (which I forgot 50 feet out of the dealership), and filled up the fuel tank and off I went!
My wife joined me for the ride down which takes about an hour. She seemed mildly interested in the acquisition and listened to the orientation by Horst. I asked her if she wanted to drive the TT home but she declined. She is a good driver and I trust her but she was nervous. Off we went. I had come south through some decent showers and was concerned about having to get the new car soaked. Fortunately there little to no rain on the way back. At about the halfway point I pulled into a rest area to ask her if she wanted to switch cars... hoping she would decline again, NOT! She was in the TT and off before I could get buckled up! I got a few pics before she took off. She gave me the mandatory high speed pass, the posing shots and some brake checks.
My initial impression of the car was that it is very tight right now. The shifting has very positive engagement, the clutch in smooth and consistent and the motor is begging to be set free. I am having some issues learning the radio/nav/multi wheel stuff. I need to just read and spend a few minutes learning and trying. It is very similar to my Benz though. I think I am becoming addicted to german cars.
Here are few pics of the ride home. Naturally, she is behind the wheel laughing at me!

Very nice, its great to have a wife that shares your passion and can drive stick, but then you also have to let her drive sometimes. I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too.
Hehe, enjoy it both

Do you remember talking about that post purchase "oh my god, what have I done" feeling??? I got it at 2 am.........
Yeah, I know the feeling. I saw your 5 am post and figured it was something like that. I had that same thing most recently when we bought 11 acres of vacant land in North Carolina (at least we NOW know that Tiger Woods is going to build his first US golf course next to it).
