Newbie
I am sure you are excited about your car and wish you the best .
I also appreciate the kind welcome expressed by others on this thread who took the time to adress my car .
Fitment -- The toughest fitment issues came with an original Tubi tailpipe which was bent . It was resolved immediately by re ordering and installing a new Tubi which I absolutely love. The carbon vent took some effort to center as well. The intercoolers took some time as well .The tecnicians who worked on my car took the time to be meticulous and precise and I greatly apprecaited their effort . As they worked they contacted me and kept me in tough with their progress . I did only the springs thus far and I must say that the strategy of avoiding a scraped lip could be a thread topic . I still haven't added new Turbo's and have pampered this car --that is of course until those Tubi's start roaring . To me it sounds like a symphony with this setup .

"How are you doing with not scraping the front lip?"
1) I will drive around the block to a less convenient entrance of necessary .
2) I angle the car and drive extremely carefully
3) when in doubt I avoid the place
4) I will paint it every 15K miles
I really don't like scrapes . In fact before I lowered the car I only scraped it one time and I winced in pain . It was after 1500 miles blemish free . I now have 3K miles and the car is no longer my daily driver . If I did use it daily I may have opted out of some of these parts , kept the ride height stock, bought the car in silver as its easier to clean , and placed GT3 RS wheels on it and only mod the engine . Creature comfort might have led me to spruce up the interior a bit .
But once the modding began --and the car was lowered I began to look at my car differently . I began to view it more fragile . I have two other cars a Mercedes E class 07 and an 07 Honda Civic Si .
When I really have any doubt about scrapes . When I want to go to the movies and face no worries of a door ding or that my xenon lights are taken (happened with two other Porsches) . When I want to go to the supermarket or work out and not wonder about my car . I take that Honda anf feel great knowing my Porsche is nesting in my garage . I know I can't avoid a scrape or a ding forever but for the extra price the third worry free car offers peace of mind .
