I got this VHT nightshade stuff from e-bay, haven't tried it yet, will probably get some tail lights from the junk yard to try on first.

I've heard the decals can rip off after a while, but with this stuff (VHT) if you do it right, sand, paint, clear, polish, it really comes out looking good.

Haven't had the time to try it yet though.

yeah only 1 problem with nightshades. ive done it before on other cars. and it doenst come off. i dont want to put this on my porsche and when i sell the car or decide that i want stock tails not be able to take them off. just a little problemmm.

if i tell the guy that is a sponser on the site that i want my tail lights smoked. will i have to send my tails into him? or can he just make them with the clear part unsmoked?

love the tinted tails, i did mine at my bodyshop, had one of my guys do it, took 20 min to take out lights, 20 to tape and sray, couple of hours to dry and that was that, we installed and wet sanded for better shine and texture.
couldnt be happier, by the way all of the pics on this thread look insane

He'll do whatever you want...I bought an extra pair of lights(used 75$ ebay) to keep them stock in case i get pulled over i can pop them in to clear a fix-it ticket

taillights TT

i have them all reds on my atlas grey TT from day one, with full terracotta leathers; but that smoked tail light with clear glass looks good on a white car.

i suggest that the orange flashers should go white too. LED's can be white and flash orange - i had them on my previous 4CS.

btw, blackened windows effect - wave to your friend and he/she cant see you to wave back.
