CAR Cover for 08TT
CAR Cover for 08TT
I have an unused PORSCHE brand indoor ar cover that I used on my C4s. Anyone know if this will stretch over the TT wing? If not, what INDOOR covers are you using. I have cats, and I have three weeks before my car gets here.
Thanks for your replies

DIfferent sizes - the one for the C4 won't fit over the wing. Even the one for the TT is snug. http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...ory_Code=997cc
Matt
For indoor use look no further than the Dustop. I was looking for something for some time and went with this and couldn't be happier.
Flannel-like material is a 4 layer non-woven composite made by Kimberly-Clark.

For info purposes:
A 997 turbo car cover will not entirely fit a 997 turbo with Porsch Aerokit.
It will be a little tight and the rear bottom left(driver) bumper will slightly be exposed because the zipper cannot close fully.
FYI
I heard that the GT2 car cover would work but have not tried.

When I purchased my TT, my Porsche dealer gave me as a gift, an indoor car cover made specifically for my 997tt - fits like a glove - and formed to go around the wing. It came in a nice emblem bag, is made of stretchy soft (satin like top side) microfiber type fabric with the logo on the front. It is really nice - about a $500 value I believe. I love it - although don't use it too often.

Except I learned the hard way that the cover should be put on only after a complete wash or detail. Man...did it take me a while to get out all the swirls.
Yes, the Porsche outdoor car cover fits like a glove. I had one for my C4S from Porsche that was also a locking outdoor car cover. They are all made to fit ever curve, corner, mirror, etc. of the car. Very nice and worth the $$. (Yes, make sure your car is just washed)
