OEM Thicker Steering Wheel

Hi All I know this topic may have been covered to exhaustion before but I'm having a hard time finding the right answers. I want to switch out the stock triangular steering wheel (tip controls, airbag, no multifunction) with the factory OEM thicker wheel, which based on all the pictures I've seen on the eBay cars is the circular wheel. Is it possible to put the tip controls and the airbags into this circular wheel, ie swap from the triangular to the circular, and not have any problems? I know a lot of people LOVE the TechArt and don't get me wrong I do too...it's just that I prefer the factory look...I attached a picture of my interior with the triangular wheel just so there's no confusion.....Thanks much!!!!

IIRC you can get the thicker wheel in the triangular form now with the controls

eclou is IIRC the order code? And Jason as always thanks for the nice pics! Is the OEM a smaller diameter all around than the stock wheel and where does the TechArt one fit in terms of diameter? I'm assuming it's even smaller than the IIRC....Thanks again!

The multifunction version actually is a bit larger than the stock circular version in terms of overall circumference. The TechArt circular version is a bit smaller but the overall thickness increase does affect that. Not by much though.
