I just bought that nicely specced turbo. I thought it was a good deal, with the mods and condition of the car. I have to say, the turbo is one sweet ride.

Does anyone know anything about this car other than what was in the craigslist listing?

Some have to remember that the market and area has a lot to do with the going price. Just like a home that sells for less in this market because someone needs to unload it and can take a loss doesn't mean the whole entire market or neighborhood will adjust down. There are people on here that can take a loss and consider it just another thing that happens in their daily lives and there are some that cannot take the loss of 20-30K and not feel it in their pockets. I know of some people that buy a Turbo while waiting for their "other" car to arrive and then unload the turbo when they get it delivered. There will be some great deals and there will be some good deals and then there will be just a deal. I don't think we should speculate so early on with a few people getting rid of their Turbo's early on. It happens.

Yup, black on black with Stage I, PSS10's already done, pretty much a no brainer for someone in the market.

Good buy!

Thank you. Funny thing though. On 6speed its considered a good buy, but on Rennlist they think the seller did well. I think it was a pretty decent deal with the extras. Car is in fantastic shape. Just need to deal with squealing pccbs.

Seems right where the market is to me. Starting to see a few 997 TT advertised in the 110-115k range. Got to really compare the options if you are in the market though as these car can come from pretty basic to very heavily loaded.

One thing to consider, however, is that the buyer got GIAC stage I, plus pss10's which would prolly be much more than $5k.

Good point. Overall, definitely not a bad buy at all.

The $110k is not bad at all.

I bought mine (used) about 2 months ago for that same price, however mine had only 5k miles and a sticker price of about $140k (full leather everywhere, sp. chrono, sht shifter, etc)... plus the previous owner had purchased the extended warranty
