Rt12 hits 211mph in 1.5 miles

I managed a few laser verified 211mph runs last sunday of an old runway here in the UK (speedo at 216mph), reclaimed the title from 9ff (for now at least) and was left even more impressed with the car than I have ever been. Braking from 211 four times and 210 numerous times within a relatively short distance, anchors biting so hard the rear wheels were just about touching down!! No heat issues with the engine and then driving home as if I had just been for a gentle cruise on the motorway. What a car and what a manufacturer, Ruf I salute you !! True to their word when they say they want to build a "better" porsche that compliments the porsche philosophy, they have.

Hi Leon, greetings from Sweden. How do you do?

Nice to hear you're enjoying your Black Beast.

I have some more data that could be interesting, from old tests in AMS, Autobild etc.

RUF Rt12 AWD (tested)

Hits 300 km/h in 24.86 secs and 1.411 meters (1 mile = 1.609 meters).
0-1000 meters in 19.75 secs.

The Porsche Carrera GT will hit 1000 m in 20.4 secs and the Ferrari Enzo in 20.1 secs.

The good old RUF CTR II (993 based) hits 1000 m in 20.8 secs.

It would be nice to go to the UK with our 996 RUF R Turbo with Rt12 specs, and now some more and see who will come out first.
In an event last year the R Turbo came out before the Rt12, but to be fair the driver of the Rt12 had a repaired tire and we did just one run.
After about 1.400 m the R Turbo had 323 km/h on the speedo, real speed who knows?

Or...why don't you come to Sweden? I will send you a pm.
