0-60 Mag: 997 vs GT-R
Wow, go away for the weekend and I missed so much going on here. BTW, I was at Sebring, you know that famous testing ground for REAL sports cars...and guess what? PORSCHE RULES!!!!! (CORVETTE WON TOO!!!!), Nissan didn't even show up (must have been too busy hyping it's new "supercar"). It is not that I do not like Japanese cars, I owned a '93 RX-7 R1 (my favorite car before buying my 997 GT3), I just think respect where respect is due. The GT-R may in fact turn out to be a great car someday, but it has to earn that right. Porsche and Corvette have already earned that right by numerous podium finishes at top race tracks over the years. RESPECT, that's all I'm asking for here.

they sure did and i believe we are going to see a repeat of the 90's with the Nissan GT-R. but thats just my opinion
I never said that they didn't, just that they weren't there this year and that the GT-R hasn't earned bragging rights yet.
I agree Nissan will need to put together a race program with the GT-R to see if it can stack up on the track.
