Meteor...it's stunning. I would have gone slate if there wasn't a brownish hue to it.

The thing I love about Meteor, at night it looks very dark (hard to tell from Slate IMO). In the bright sunlight it is almost Silver. A very cool color, I would get it again in a flash. Nuthin wrong with Slate , or any color on a Turbo for that matter!

I have a friend with a cocoa leather/slate grey "fetish" so I've looked at many many Slate and Meteor Grey cars. IMHO, the 2 colors are close to each other as far as darkness level, one is not really lighter than the other. (Atlast Grey is the one that's really dark.) So, as far as maintenance: equal in my opinion.

The key difference to my eyes is Slate has a brownish hue , and Meteor is more the traditional grey. Unless you have a strong preference for one color over the other, the determining factor might be what color the interior is. If you like cocoa, natural brown, and beige leather, then Slate is a better match. If you like black or grey leather, pick Meteor.

And if you have some degreee of OCD , the yellow PCCB brake would require Slate. Hope this helps.

You cant go wrong with Meteor over Natural grey leather, very nice with the full leather and is very classy.

The OP asked which one would be easier to maintain. Rule of thumb when it comes to paint colors is lighter tends to be easier so I guess MG would be easier. I think both looks equally as stunning in its own right but I personally prefer MG myself. A friend of mine has MG with dark tinted windows and she looks really mean! To me a slate grey TT has a classy appearance.
