Replacing front spoiler lip
Look at post #7 above...NorcalTT mentioned Sunset Porsche up in Beaverton, OR which I also recommend too. Good place to get it. I don't have a part number with me but they'll know exactly what you need if you tell them.
My guess is, if you were to buy, say three, for about $140 ea plus shipping from Sunset you could get all three prepped and painted for not much more than getting one prepped and painted. Then you could have one for banging around town, one for a spare and one for go to Sunday meetin'.
They'll know what you need.
I've always dealt with Eric Svaren at Sunset Imports but any one of those guys can help you guys out. I noticed that Sunset tends to have slightly lower prices than Suncoast. I'd say that Sunset is good for those on the West coast and Suncoast for those on the East coast.
I received my front spoiler lip today from Sunset Imports. Delivery was less than 48 hours after I placed the order. Very impressive. Now it's off to the paint and body shop for prep, a few coats of LB9A (paint code) Carrara White and then clear coat. Should be back to perfect soon. That will be nice.
I bought my 997 Turbo new in August. It is my first Porsche. Previous automobiles have been an NSX, 540i 6-speed, S4 and most recently an E46 M3. I enjoyed them all, but after my business partner suggested that we take a drive to Niello Porsche in Rocklin California and "drive a few cars", the hook was set so deep that there was no question that my next car would be a Carrera. After driving a few Carreras, there was no question that it would be the Turbo. This car is absolutely wonderful.
Performance upgrades are not something that I have ever considered in any of my previous cars, mostly because I avoid the possibility of any complicating "issues" by keeping it bone stock. After a few e:mails back and forth with Alex at Sharkwerks, I am leaning toward a Tubi exhaust system. It may be just provide the "voice" that I will find intoxicating.

I take sandpaper to my lip on a regular basis because it looks like grated cheese is dangling from the bottom of it. Its not painted so all I loose is a little plastic each time. Soon my front spoiler will be 3/4 its size and scrapping my driveway wont be an issue anymore.

I have new ones in stock too but it sounds like you're scraping that might not be a good idea
On the exhaust, I've got an EVT700 car on the lift with the MillTek right now. Next week we'll have a Tubi and following that week another one. It's certainly the lightest one as well which is nice
