I call BS. He may just be prone to exaggeration or passes along things from others that exaggerate. Either way, I don't believe it.

The GT2 has no stability control, only traction control. I know I know, what's the difference?

The traction control doesn't kick in until a ridiculously high threshold so it's almost like it isn't there.

I don't think that he is lying, I suspect that he is just passing on a false rumor.

Last I saw the dealer was asking $275,000 for it but that was last week and it might be spoken for? The car was in the LA region and it was black. Sorry I can't be more specific. I doubt seriously that the first 8 GT2's were wrecked. I have seen more than a few Carrera GT's wrecked. People with tons of money and little sport car driving experience found out the hard way (one guy simply turned around and bought another one because it was totaled). Those cars have to be shipped to the factory in Germany to be fixed and when it arrived Porsche said it was beyond repair. Of course fender benders can be fixed here. Like your new avitar Jason!

Not a chance that is anywhere near accurate, polar peter's yellow gt2(member on rennlist) was probably one of those 8, and its still intact LOL .

I can't wait to drive one, I was just on the track in mine and cookin' out there, this is probably much easier to drive and might make a less experienced driver look much better then they are, I could see how people could get into tons of trouble in the new 2, but that is just bs info!

They're asking $125,000k for 2005's. Talk about a haircut! Might as well dump your dough in a trash can and torch it. Insane! I still want one!
