Whoa, someone's a drama queen. This is the last place I thought I would see that. Nearly everyone in here is good natured and willing to take a jab or two. I guess you meet all kinds of people in here.

Seriously though, we were just kidding around. It wasn't personal. We didn't insult your mother or call you dirty names. I suggest losing that thin skin. It's just a message board. Not everyone is going to like or appreciate everything you do or say. Very few of us actually know you, so this is the last place to take anything so seriously. Why would the opinion of a total stranger freak you out so badly?

Learn to take a joke. It's all part of growing up.

I apologize also on my part for being a little sensitive about your remarks but at times, it's hard to see through the sarcasm despite the smileys.

I've been here for a while so I would hardly think of this message board as just another forum. Many folks on here are like family to me so when folks like yourself or others who are new to me come in here insulting me or my friends, that's where I draw the line. I personally take offense in the fact that you've insulted my "club" and called me a drama queen. In any case, I've moved on.

 

No need to apologize. I am not hurt by anything that anyone says in here. Nothing that happens in here has anything to do with reality in the first place. You must know that . . . right? I don't define who I am or get offended by what people say on an Internet message board or by my post count. I realize that in here you carry a big stick and that people listen to you. You put a lot of time into your posts and often have useful things to say. I congratulate you for that. But that doesn't mean that everything you say is so sacrosanct that no one can poke fun, criticize or disagree with you. You must know that things don't work that way in the real world - at least not the world I live in.

Also, I thought the only criteria for joining this forum was a love for P-cars. I didn't realize that there is some kind of a "club" you enter into when you have a certain number of posts under your belt. And when did I insult you or your friends?? You and I have very different definitions of what amounts to an insult. What I said broke no forum rules and meant no harm. I don't plan on changing how I conduct myself in here. You are just going to have to deal with it.

We obviously come from very different worlds. No offense (little hope of that), but you wouldn't last 2 seconds in my world being that sensative. I'm not saying that's good or bad - it is just reality. To be frank, I find it odd that anyone can call an Internet community a "family". That's when I start hearing the Twilight Zone music. To each his own I guess.

I have nothing against you. I wish you luck in all that you do.

To everyone else lets get this back on the Micro 997 topic. I can see two points of view and unfortunately the more that is carried on about how "one" feels will only lead to disagreement. Some of us are more involved in forum than others and they develop relationships with people because they have met a few on this board as well as off. Jason has helped many members on here in Real Life and on 6Speed. He considers this place as a portal to keep in touch with the people he has met in person and has helped at one time or another. So to him this place and some of these people are like "family" in a sense to him. I also see the other side of the equation as well. But this is Jason's thread so lets move back to the helpful thread that Jason intended it to be..

Okay everyone hold hands now....lets sing...or else I will take your 997's up on a C140 and do this!!
