i installed the IPD plenum on my turbo and had it dyno'd before and after. not much of a change, about 15hp. but for $1K, that's not bad. eBay has one for $900 and my mechanic took 30 minutes to install it.

i also had headers installed on my car, which didn't do anything. a waste of $1500.

GIAC ecu with Tubi is a great start

I would suggest
-IPD intake plenum
-Werks intake
-Werks intercoolers

Werks products are just beautiful to look at from a design and engineering standpoint.
These will allow for quicker turbo spool and response as well as extra power from the plenum.

If you have the GIAC and x's exhaust, how much hp does this add?

interesting you should ask about giac's increase claims.

i had my car dyno'd and found out that their software only increased hp to 441 and torque to 435. this is way below their claims. i blend my fuel with 105 octane so it's not the gas.

maybe something else is wrong to make it so low, but my mechanic says giac overstates their numbers?

has anyone else found giac's number to be different than actual dyno increases?

I can vouche for most of this . The only part I have different is the Evoms intercoolers . At the time I bought my mods I did not see a Werks component.
I also have EVOMs headers .

I love the intake .

don't know about anyone else, but when i installed my plenum i had them do a dyno before and after the installation. the giac hp and torque claims, at least on my 997TT, were way high. the dyno showed 50hp less and 70lbs less torque. this was with blended race gas & pump (95 octane).

has anyone else found the same results? i tried contacting giac and they're not the greatest on returning calls.
