"to make himself feel better about his over prices AWD 350Z" - Almo

Im curious, if you feel the GTR is overpriced (while having at least the same performance as a 997 turbo) than how do you feel about the pricing of the 997 turbo?

Until the porsche denialists admit to the facts, it is going to continue to amuse everyone else who is watching you squirm all over the place with your completely illogical arguments.

If you want to end this, you are going to have to eat that humble pie - otherwise it just continues to be too amusing to let go......

I can see it seems to be all about rubbing Nissan into the faces of Porsche owners.

I don't know what to laugh at more... Turbo Civics arguing their food chain rights to Chevy owners or having a Porsche owner admitting the above? Last I checked Porsche has been and and has stayed in the picture... Nissan?

Too funny!<O</O

Is this your argument? Or do you feel smiley faces are the best way to express yourself?

You seem to be more nieve than I originally thought.

How much performance are you expecting in a 70K dollar car? lol. SLOW AS *****? Jeez..you sound like a hater to me...you must really have some nasty things to say about Porsche if that truly is your unbiased view, since the TT cost nearly twice as much, and honestly doesn't perform quite as well all around. Not all people care strictly about quarter mile times either as you seem infer, as there is a lot more to a car than just that...but hey you have a Mustang, so you might still be stuck in the "I ONLY care about going fast in straightline, corners are too scary" box lol. To a lot of potential GT-R buyers, cornering and track performance will be in favor over being fastest in a straightline.

Instead of wasting my time explaining… I will say this.

3800 pound AWD GT-R on 10 pounds of boost (spinning badly) on a track is complete BS and shows to be more Hype in my opinion. Also, from a car they are calling Godzilla and pushing the Ring times as such only to show it running a 11.50s is a shame. Again, that is slow as ***** when comparing performance numbers!!

The car puts down ~450awhp, and with launch control is capable of launching at about 4500rpm. It's already been noted and documented on video by several sources that the GT-R is more than capable of spinning the tires from a dig, especially with it super short gearing and broad torque curve. I don't know where you came up with the hypothesis of the GT-R being complete BS and hype. What the hell are you comparing its straightline performance to? A Veyron or 3.4 whippled Cobra? As far as I see it, the GT-R's straight line times (especially 1/4 mile ET) are quite competive with it's rivals, and for less money. What's the average 1/4 mile for a Z06? Turbo? R8? Gallardo? Etc. Are you really that delusioned because of the fact that you have something against the GT-R...for whatever reason lol.
<O</O

I would take a 997 TT over a GT-R any day. Not to mention... at the end of the day, class sits with the 997 where as the driver of the GT-R will still own a Nissan. I guess he can charm with a louder blow off valve at Hot Import Nights, as well as tossing out Ring times to make himself feel better about his over prices AWD 350Z. I’m just saying.

Total ignorance to say the least...I won't waste my time with this.

Lastly, I have seen Twin Screw 03/04 Cobra run 13s... I guess they can say at 2000 less DA their car would run 10s just like everyone's esles. <O</O

Hate what? I have no need to hate. Haters are those who hate beacuse they can't own of afford one. Believe me I can own a few of these GTRs. I just don't like these threads popping up constantly by a bunch of fanboys. Those are the true haters. They can't afford either the GTR or the TT.

What does "staying in the picture" have to do with your argument, or anything in general for that matter? As long as there is dealership near by that can service my car for the entirety of my ownership, or to fulfill any warranty or servicing needs, I couldn't care less if they've been in or stayed in the picture for X amount of years. I hope you at least have a share in Porsche, to even state something so irrelevant and unimportant to use as a prop in your argument. I rather buy the SUPERIOR vehicle regardless if they stayed in the picture for 5 or 50 years, as long as the vehicle does what I want with no issues.

You would buy the superior car... hmmm, so why did you buy a Mustang?

It seems you are here to troll.

Same here. I don't see any point in arguing with a coward anyway, nor in arguing with someone who has such an obvious hatred and disdain for the GT-R, because it supposedly carries too much "hype", on top of being engineered in Japan.

LOL... how do you come up with coward from the previous posts?

I actually like the looks of the GT-R but it is people like you; pushing them down others throats which presents a bad image for them.

Why did I buy the Mustang? Simple. For the money I found it to be a great performer for what I was intending to use it for, as well as the great aftermarket resources such as Griggs, Maximum Motorsports, MMR, etc, that help turn a Mustang into a real corner carver. The looks and V8 were also selling points for me, over some of others in that price spectrum. Ultimately, I saw that the mustang had a lot of pontential in both cornering and straightline speed. The 05-09 S197 Mustang chassis is quite competitive with the likes of E46 M3's and 997 cup cars in grand am, as well as in the FIA GT3 and GT4 classes..for a lot less money might I add.

Me a troll? Sorry that I don't share the same overly biased view as you. I guess that's just what I'll have to do from now on though, in order to fit in with the suave egotistical uper class that you seem to be clinging to. And what might you be doing here? You're just as worthless as me being here, even though you may think otherwise lol.

So you're cheap by buying a Mustang but you're here being very very supportive of a GT-R, not to mention pushing it within a 997 section of the site. *shaking head*

Me, I am here to pick up what I don't already know and the difference between a 996 TT and 997 TT. One of these will most likely be the my next car.

It's funny, I see a lot gibberish being pushed about the GT-R as a ribbing type deal. If you think you and a few others aren't doing so then you're blinded.... I’ll just call it zillaitis. Either way, these types of threads are similar to all the civic owners pushing kills to Mustang on Mustang websites.<O</O

Simple. Because you shied away from the reality that I served you, by responding that you would not waste your time with me. People like ME pushing GT-R hype down your throat? How is that....your subconsious mind is automatically assuming way too much and targeting me as throwing **** down your throat, simply because you're in an uncomfortable position making a fool of yourself. Have you even gathered a thing I've said...I was just trying to correct your GT-R haterism from the beggining. Don't try and re-write the script.
