my dads friend has a black on black 997tt and would like some nice black wheels with a big lip. price is not a problem. i am a Pcar newb and dont really know about wheels for these cars. he does not like bbs and champion. he also does not care about the weight but he would like forged wheels. are dpe's popular on porsches?

 

Try Dymag Black Carbon's and 360Forged Multi Spec Black Wheels. Those are all gorgeous, i'm trying to decide between those two

And also you can advise HRE P43.

 

Try HRE P40's or P43's. I think that they are the nicest looking forged wheel for the 997TT. http://www.hrewheels.com/monoblok/porsche/p40/. Also, check out this thread.

I love my HRE C20's . Mine are brushed but the center can be ordered black as well as several other choices.

As for the lip -- mine are "step lip" as opposed to a "reverse lip" . They are ideal for both dry and wet surface driving . Personally I like the texture of brushed in that it has this hand made appearance which I find appealing but he has many different choices .
