So many 997TT's for Sale
Been there, done that with a 997TT
Here's my input from fitting the profile as a former 997TT owner. While I still had the 997TT, I also purchased a 360 Modena, hated it, and then bought a 575 Maranello. When I had an opportunity to buy back my beloved 993 Carrera S, I kept the Ferrari but sold the 997TT. I always told myself if I had to limit my stable to just one car, it would be the 997TT. I then sold the 575 and bought a CLK 63 Black Series and just sold it. While waiting for the Turbo (yep, ordered another one!) I picked up a 2007 C4S and now am REALLY struggling with trying to justify the difference in price between the used 2K mile C4S and the Turbo - a difference of about $50K for another 125 horsepower in an otherwise identical car that way my C4S is optioned. Anyway, just thought I'd add a 'real' story - no economy issues, just a love of cars and a quick boredom factor. My 2007 was a well-optioned car WITHOUT the PCCB. For street use, I can't think of a more ridiculously priced, not needed option...the 6 piston units that the Turbo comes with are just fine - no - make that superb.
Vic, for people who use a 997TT (or other 100k+ car) as a daily, what would you say the average income to car cost ration is?
There is no hype on 08 availability they are very hard to get!
There will be a 09 997 turbo. Same car for at least the first 6 months of production according to our allocation. It may be the same for the whole year. We are only getting 2!!!!
So like I said months ago THERE IS A 09 TURBO AND IT IS UNCHANGED ; )
OH and BTW we have an 07 GT Silver/Black 07 Coupe with 3000 miles. Sport Chrono and all the right stuff.
Asking $124.9 certified. PM me if your interested : )

Thanks for the info on the 2009's. You and a handful of others helped me decide to wait one month for 2009 over a 2008. Any idea when the official order guide will be out?
I am a dealer as well and I have seen the prices sky rocket because of export. Week american dollar and Europe is takeing advantage as they should. I used to be able to buy 997TT for $104-$108 and know they are running $115-$120 wholesale.
Perhaps the 2008's are hard to get as a dealer (low allocations) but pretty easy to find as a buyer (even fewer buyers). My smallish local dealer did not have allocations but when I looked in Northern California in April, at least four dealers had May/June build 2008's available. I had zero difficulty picking up a July build 2009 earlier this month. Well spec'd new cars on the lot are nonexistent though. Maybe it is just California phenomenon.
