Yes I did my research and 315/25 is the same diameter as stock 19 wheels with 305/30...that is why i want to get them as well...305/25 on 20s that I have now is actually 0.4 inch smaller then stock parameter...i dont know why ChampionMotorsport install them...

315/25 should be the perfect fit for rotational diameter...I'd be careful experimenting beyond that, as apparently the 997 is much more sensitive compared to the 996 for front/rear tire diameter differentials.

Thanks...

You think 18mm will be right for 315/25 tyres on 20x11 wheels ???

What about front wheels do they need spacer as well ???

Anybody knows for sure what spacer should I get...15 or 18s or something in btw

As I undertand for Champion wheels I need to get regular spacer that will work on stock Porsche wheels...right ???

What is the dealership doing with your car. I used to work at that exact dealership. (Tom Wood) I might have to swing in there and check out your ride.

EDIT: And I will be sure to let you know how beautiful it is....maybe even take a picture of me next to the car just to make you jealous.

You should've gotten 12s. It looks like somebody sold you narrowbody wheels.

Spending that kinda cash on wheels, you shouldn't need to resort to spacers. They should fit perfectly, especially when lowered.

Champion Motorsport recommends a 325/25/20 rear tire for the 997 Wide-Body (997C4S/TT/RS) models.

gt rus, if you wanna do it right just get another set of wheels with the right offset.
i use spacers on my rears since i think they still were not aggressive as they should be from champion.
if you want to get the right spacers just measure how many mm will bring the tire just to to the fender, i think anything bigger than 18mm is too much for a spacer, although i think RUF uses 25mm spacers for there wheels.

Looks like I can use at least 15-18mm spacer with 315/25 wheels...dont think 325/25 will look good on 11 wide wheel...

If we think logically... Champion offers 12 inch wheels with 325 tyres with same offset ( at least 25mm wider)...that mean I can go at least with 18mm spacers or even 25 like RUF ...???

Does any one know what you can put on the back of a turbo/widebody as for offset? Lets say you were going to use a 11 in rim. 35mm or more? I know stock is 51mm. I had 50mm on my narrow body and it didn't stick out. It was flush..

I've seen some pics where people put 18mm rear and 15 front...

Mike

So as we get the car to the ground...we will measure eveyrthing up and order correct spacers...we might need to do some suspension adjustments as well...
