More agressive rear offset or wider tyres...on 20 wheels...

Looked at the pics of my car and they got ME thinking that I might need to get some rear spacers to have more aggresive offset or may be get wider 315/25 tyres (305/25 now)...or may be get both...

I really like most agressive offsets as long as there is no rubbing....

The car has 20x11 Champion wheels at the rear...

Please tell ME what do you think...

Here is some pics for pics of the car...

If you plan on keeping the rims I would do spacers for sure.. That's the ONE thing I found I didn't like about Champion wheels( well on the narrow body cars at least) is they don't have very aggressive off sets. I had 50mm on my C2S and it was flush with the fender. I think the farthest they went was 58mm on narrow body( on the 20in wheel).... Go with a spacer and maybe that 315 later if you still feel it's need to come out more... By the way great looking car..

spacer for sure, it doesn't look right for widebody with lower ride height.

GT RUS you are all over the place still aren't you?

You don't have the car yet - is it at the dealer or the tuner? Why can't your TUNER tell you what you need? I hope they are good enough for that. You inquire about 1/4 mile times yet you have 20" rims.

Thanks for your replies guys..if Champion wheels come with stock TUBRO offsets then I definately need to get some spacer...I already asked my tuner to check on this , just wanted to get your opinions...

NO I am not...I am here...

The car is at tuner NOW getting some engine mods done ...

I have asked my tuner about that...and wanted to get people opinion from the pics (as I havent seen then car in rear life) if spacer are needed...I thought that they I needed....NOW I 100% and going to get some...

As for 20inch wheels...well...I have stock wheels that I going to be runing with Toyo 888 for DR...

I hope I cleared all your concerns !!!

Did you happen to take a look at this thread?

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=76165

315/25 should be the perfect fit for rotational diameter...I'd be careful experimenting beyond that, as apparently the 997 is much more sensitive compared to the 996 for front/rear tire diameter differentials.

that is definitely the wrong offset for that wheel, probably meant to be for a narrow body. you probably need around 18mm spacers to make it look right

I think the offset if correct. 50+ - The Turbo wheel sits in as well.

yeah, but porsche doesnt use aggressive offset on anything but the gt cars, the turbo offset is 51 in rear, that is why people go with aftermarket more aggressive wheels or add spacers.
I have an offset of 49mm on my narrow body 997 with 305's
