to change the color of your brake calipers, you have to remove them and have them painted (custom). But why would anyone paint the yellow ceramics - that is their trademark to be yellow. Why don't you start a new post thread and ask if anyone else has red ceramics. I have never heard of that.

I have read a few posts on here where the yellow has been painted both red and black. I guess yellow doesnt go with every color and owners have had them painted.

Hmmm. For a nearly $9,000 option, I like everyone to know they are ceramic! I think the yellow goes with all colors! Just my opinion.

I totally agree,, but someone on here recently redid a TT and painted the ceramic brakes red, its easy enough to have done.

guess red and red looked better to him than red/yellow.

i thought long and hard abt getting the yellow brakes and decided since I will never track my car I have no need for them. I just drive in Fl on the highways and back roads and really see no need for the ceramics.

the turbo brakes are great!!

I don't recall ever seeing a 997TT without it.

^^^Looks like there is only one!

PS: Yes, the turbo brakes are great too! In my opinion, everything about the turbo is great and you can't go wrong no matter what color and what options.

I am really impressed you drive a 6 speed.

I beg my wife to drive the turbo and she refuses. She has skills on a manual but a 5 speed and for some reason the idea of a SIX SPEED just intimidates her.

I told her its the same as a 5 speed. BUT,,,,,, there is something abt over 5 gears that causes a mental block.

Hopefully in time I can get her comfortable..

Thanks! I have done quite abit of tracking and last month went to the Porsche Sport Driving school in Alabama and had a blast there too! Today I left a Ferrari in my dust on the highway (he had a beautiful car but no driving skills)!

It is BRAKES, not BREAKS people. Sorry, that drives me crazy. I'll be quiet now.

I was told sport chrono was a must also, I thought about the brake color also but kept the steel. The calipers had to be taken off and sent to be painted, but I dont know about outside the U.S.
