Many thanks to CEC (Mark) for the TechArt wing, AWE (Mike) & GIAC for unleashing the beast & my Porsche dealer for making it all happen. It's hard to believe this is the same car. If anybody is "on the fence" about doing an ECU flash, go for it. While my AWE/GIAC experience has been wonderful, I'm sure others are good also. As Nike says: JUST DO IT!

After spending some more time with my car, all I can say is it is amazing. Last night we drove in heavy traffic and the car is no different than stock. This morning, very early, I took it out before (hopefully) the cops were out. Did some fairly spirited driving and it is a monster. Can't imagine what it will feel like with 700 HP. Notice I said WILL not WOULD.
I understand that people are worried about the warranty issues, but nobody would consider not ordering the sport chrono option on their car. If this flash was an option on the Porsche order sheet, I'm sure EVERYBODY would order it also. So unless you are really worried about the warranty, why not have this done. It takes the car to another level that, again, if it was on the Porsche option list, everybody would order.
Gene - couldn't find any GTRs. I don't know if it's my imagination but the AWE exhaust seems deeper with the flash. On the way to dinner last night my wife even mentioned it was deeper. Any reason for this?
