You're correct - the 20 inch version of a lightweight 19 inch wheel (Champion, for example) will weigh more - it's just bigger. Same for the rubber - the PS2 325/25-20 is 2 lbs heavier than the 305/30-19

As many people have said,

If you are tracking, go with 19s,
But for overall looks, we have been putting 20s on most of our customers cars, they come out fantastic looking...
