need help to choose wheels for 997TT
need help to choose wheels for 997TT
My brother is thinking of getting new set of wheels for his 997TT. He has been searching forever ( alex knows what I'm talking about
), anyway here is the wheels he liked the most
1) hre 590R
2) 360forged mesh ten
3) Modulare M6
he likes the 20'' wheels more as they'll look hot with the techart bodykit he has but at same time he's upgrading the engine and he doesn't want to kill the power by heavy wheels. so here is the questions:
--- Is there a big difference between same model wheels but different size? i.e.( 590r in 20 inch VS 590r in 19 OR mesh ten in 20'' VS mesh ten in 19''..etc)
--- What do you guys think of lightweight 20'' wheels compare to the factory 19'' in terms of handling and performance? let's say 20'' 590R with PS2 tires and factory 19'' wheels with PS2.
if anyone can provide me with some numbers that would be plus and lets see which one you'll choose
thanks in advance

Out of that list, I would definitely go with the HRE 590Rs.
Just to make the decision making process a little harder, have him check out the Morr Alloys VS8 wheel. It's very well priced since we are running a group buy and are available in 20" fitment.

haha Abdullah.... Oh well, when it comes to wheels, you dont want to make the wrong decision...
The weight between 19s and 20s isnt a whole lot, but it is somewhat noticeable. As far as 19" performance vs 20".... The 20s, due to the tires being lower profile, will not perform as well but will still perform excellent...
Feel free to call me again if you have any questions
Here are some more pix of the Modulare M6.... Thats my choice out of all these.

I've always liked HRE but those Modular M6 look very nice. Actually they are to dissimilar to the 590R's.
