Assistance with 19: rim gap
Assistance with 19: rim gap
Guys,
I am looking for some help / advice. I upgraded from a 997S to a 997TT and put my 19" Champion RS97's (no idea what width they are) on the TT. The problem is that the wide body of the TT leave a pretty big gap (pix attached). I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and if spacers can solve this and if so, advice on size spacers and where to get them? I would rather not buy new rims as I had these painted and have new rubber on them.
Thanks for any help.

Spacers would be your best bet to have the wheels sitting more flush with the fenders.
The best way to determine what spacers you need is pretty simple. Basically, all you have to do is measure the distance from the sidewall of your tire to the inside of the fender. Associate this distance with a spacer that is equal or slightly less to that of what you measured to ensure good fitment and prevent rubbing issues.
We carry H&R spacers which come in the following sizes:
7mm, 14mm, 15mm, 18mm, 23mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm & 45mm.
Be advised that you will need longer bolts to run spacers.
