PCCB's durability

I thought I read that one of the great things about PCCB was that they were supposed to last for 150,000 miles. 20,000 miles for $8000 is a waste, especially when a slotted steel rotors will stop just as quickly and are cheap. Please keep us up to date on this.

Obviously, not all "miles" are created equal when it comes to brakes. They'll last forever of you never use them.

Lap after lap of threshold braking from >100 to <50 will obviously have some consequences.

You larger point, however, is a good one. The jury is still out whether you really "get anything" for $8K (other than cool looking calipers and less brake dust). I have not heard complaints in the paddock from brake fade on the Big Reds...
