I was curious what ball park peak boost is on a stock tune 997TT. I have noticed that my car has boost range hits near 16psi but not much after that (this is on the sport mode/overboost function). Usually when I floor it the boost jumps up to 10 and reaches about 12 before I have to shift. For some reason I was thinking on a stock tune the cars boost past 20 psi.

 

Does anyone know?

I am curious also as to what an aftermarket tune does to the normal and overboost mode. Thanks.

 

most people have not seen 18 psi on a stock tune. I know I never did.

 

Mine is stock and averages about 13-14. on some occasions (rare) I have seen 16. I was seeing 11-12 in the heat of the summer (not sure what that has to do with it though).

Tuned with the Softronic ECU I see a peak of 18PSI.
