Drivers Republic GT2 v GTR around the Nurburgring
I guess you also havent seen people who've tracked the GT-R complaining about mushy pedal brake fade and running through tires like no tommorow. Overheating, limp mode etc. And not just occasionally, but on a regular basis.
Point is, you dont need 24 hrs to see the problem.

I have never experienced mushy pedal.
I have not experienced faster-than expected tire wear (compared to TT). Like the TT, I need more neg camber dialed in to get better life.
I have never experienced limp mode.
I had a "yellow" overheat warning (no limp mode) one time, at Fernley, running hard in 105 deg heat at high altitude (harder for car too cool down due to lower mass of airflow).
I have had no tranny issues, even after doing a few LCs.
5 days does not a reputation make, but so far so good. Lots of more hardcore guys on NAGTROC running Hoosiers and race suspension-- no reported problems. Prob not for me. GT-R doesn't feel like the kind of platform I would want to build a track-only car out of.
In fact, I challenge HC or others to point to one real owner having an "issue" on track anywhere ever. "Some mushiness" in the brakes on the Ring doesn't count (the speeds and braking demands of that track are really unique-- and GT-R still does very well)-- I mean a real performance or safety issue.
If those are real specs, then it is a joke. I'll get my overboost from Cobb for $995, thank you very much.
GT-R tire life and brakes
5k worth of replacements to go along with it.
Tires and rotors only..................

There is also another poster in that same thread calling the brakes weak.

Nasty tranny fluid after only 3 events.

High maintenance...................
Then we have failed GT-R's from Top Gear, Best Motoring. 30 + tranny failures of various kinds resulting in removal of LC.
Limp Mode GT-R's from Best motorin and one foreign guy, cant remember location.
You had Limp mode.
What else do you need.

Now there is an informative post buy an actual owner tracking his GT-R. No hearsay, my buddies friends friend told me, I read it on the internetsss etc etc.
But an owner running his car on track with no issues.
Now if those Spec V numbers are legit......
Nissan is smoking one giant crack pipe! A Cobb or Mines ecu will get you more than 5 horsepower for $1000! I think perhaps there was a typo and they meant to write 585 horsepower, not 485? After all, they are doubling the price of the car! What a joke.

And in case you havent noticed, this is the internetsssss.
etc etc.
Not sure what you mean.
I've never had a limp mode (at least not car related). I got an early warning of high temps one time in extreme conditions, and simply ran a couple of laps in a higher gear and all was well.
I did need to replace my tires, but again I don't think of that as "an issue." I need more neg camber up front to get more than 6-7 track days out of street tires. Same as any other car I have tracked. Since going -2.1 on the TT, I get much better wear.

There is a video of a GTR, GT2 , GT3 (I think), and a couple of other cars racing somewhere in Japan during which the GTR goes into limp mode during the race and it is displayed in the video (they show the actual red warning light on the dash). I believe it's somewhere in the thread about Nissan cheating at the ring, started by HC. Does anyone remember where that one is? Anyway, somebody please bring a few GTRs to the Nurburgring 24 so we can see what happens during a real race. If anything, you might be able to shut me up about GTRs running in real race situations. You must be getting tired of me repeating this ad nauseum.
