I have had a fabspeed exhaust with no ecu flash on my '08tt for about 10 months and all is well. I probably just jinxed myself but I thought I needed to speak up for the fabspeed guys because I have been thouroughly pleased with my system.

Is it true the CEL problem with after market exhaust is "widespread"? I have not seen much, at least based on the postings on the 3 Turbo forums I read.

Speaking just from my experience, it's not just FS (as noted in a couple of other threads - but I don't want to get into specific companies). I am working my way up to an ecu flash so this may do the trick and put the parts of the system back into balance. I'm glad to see this issue out of the closet so we can better attend to it asap.

Iam running Fabspeed muffler by-pass pipes and the Speedtech Bung extensions are working fine...

I keep the stock tip's on the muffler by-pass pipes and the fabspeed tip's on the muffler pipe extensions so its a fast swap for me....

Lot's of looks and thumbs up with the muffler bypass pipes !

At dealer for minor service all the sales people came out to see and hear the muffler bypass pipes !
