I'm thinking about buying a used TT Coupe and would love to have all of the new toys (Bluetooth, iPod, etc). Any way to get that done with OEM hardware/software from an 09? I would like to avoid the current aftermarket options if at all possible.

I think I remember someone saying the PCMs are VIN number locked, meaning it would be hard to obtain. My guess is that it would probably be fairly expensive.

Not really easily that's for sure It's going to very so expensive you'd be better off either leaving it or going with aftermarket parts

What's your educated guess of the cost to get it done? $5k? $10k?

As it stands, the PCM is the thing that may push me over the edge towards ordering a new one. I would love to save $30k, though -- I'm willing to pay the cost of retrofitting a used 07/08 since it means I get to have my cake and eat it.

The VIN issue might kill the whole idea.
