I decided to step up a bit more on this car. Today I bought the following -

1) Tubi race exahust -- Yep --just had to . Every reason imaginable led me to compliment the 700 kit with this exhaust.

2) Brembo upgraded brakes - The car has to be able to stop somehow and the stock brakes work but I want a better ability .

3) Pss10 - out with the Techart Springs and in with the coilovers . I still have been on the fence where to dial in the ride height but since I have the Techart kit I want to start at the same height as my current setup .

4) Gt2 sway bar -- keeps the tail in check.

5) Gt2 - Clutch engagement conversion kit .


I am thrilled . I get it all next week.

It's too bad we live far away. I've always liked the work you have posted and have learned so much reading your posts.

 

The mod bug bites again! Congrats! What are you doing with the Tubi's?

I don't know yet . I'll hang onto them to be sure I like the race version . Kinda like an exhaust security blanket.

I hear ya. Even stock the Turbo clutch engagement was tough but with the performance clutch it's even more challenging.

I can't wait to see this when its done .

I agree... makes it so much easier to engage the clutch IMHO.

 

I will . I walkaway from this today thinking this was the final expense but I sat in the Gt2 seats and it was hard to walk away from them . I just had to keep some sense of budget. I figure that when the leather wears on my sports adaptive seats (they are still like new) then that would be the final mod .

I believe the software will require a reflash.
