Need help removing A/C backing

Hello Members,

5 nights ago I hit a raccoon and it did some major damage to my passenger side front bumper wheel well, foglights, AC backing and radiator backing, and bent the structural mounts which holds the AC and Radiator in place. The AC backing is in bad shape (bent) and I have already ordered the replacement pieces for all the damaged parts. I was able to take apart everything including radiator grill but not the AC backing. I am not sure if the R134 refrigerant will harm the environment of myself. Also, I don't know how the Porsche techs replace this refrigerant (where do they reinstall this refrigerant)? If I take apart the ac condensor lines from the ac backing will it release gases or liquids? Need help in repairing my AC backing. Thank you all.
