I saw a Werks air box install. You have to cut your stock OE bootlid. I didn't think the install or the product looked that good. Hell you can't even add oil the way is designed. I would pass on the mod even if it was free. Better to say OE and go BMC filters.

Good point M3... That intake is still great looking. I have been running my new Agency Power intake for a while now.

What do you guys think of 20" Techart II GT's vs HRE P43's? Also, what do you think of the WERKS airbox. I found a used one and it's looks cool but is it worth it. What kind of radar dectector do you recommend, Valentine 1 or K40?

Thanks.
P43 over the Techarts . They are light and IMO a better quality wheel .
The Werrks 1 is really cool (as far as intakes go) . I have it on my car .

Best wishes with the new car.

It takes 2 seconds to remove the cover to add the oil . That's the same anount of time it takes to revove my gas cap to fill my car up with gasoline. Cutting the bootlid is all part of what makes a tuner can do to go the extra yard . They do it all the time .

The second port hole cut can be seen in this photo. Ignore the water spots.

I like the Gruppe M over the Werk 1.

Remember it's not all about power but also about air temps too.

Neither the V1 nor the K40 will make you invisible to the cops....not when they have a GPS transmitter on your car watching your every move...............LOL

This true. I thought that part of the design was poor as you have to unbolt the intake to change the filter. I'm glad your happy the mod. The Gruppe Design looks much better as more air can get to the filter and you can add oil with out hassle.

9500ci

As noted elsewhere I have and am happy with the Escort 9500ci but you still have to use some common sense re speeding tickets. Others prefer similar products. You get updates to download about every two weeks or so.
