Is it just me or is my B&M way too stiff shifting from 1st to second? I am even considering taking it out and putting the OEM SSK in instead. Anyone here have comparable info?

 

I got the OEM SSK and first impression was that it wasn't as easy to shift in 1st and 2nd as I would like, but people mentioned that it would wear in a bit and I'm sure the 17 degree weather isn't helping. I'll give it till the spring to see if it wears in better. 3,4,5,6 are all fine though.

 

I had mine adjusted and am very happy with it now. I think you need to consider someone who has installed many of them to adjust it for you. Initially the 1st gear can be a push then it relaxes..

 

I haven't had any issues with mine. Maybe it needs to be looked at for possible adjustments.
