You will actually have quite a few extra leather bits compared to my car - they will look great but I just decided that I had to limit the options somewhere.

As before, I urge you to post all of your specs in one location (with both the option code and a brief description) so people can look at everything together. In your more recent listing some of the best options (Sports Chrono, PCCB, LSD, Sport Shifter) are missing from the list. It is so easy to miss something that you want lots of people to be able to easily look at your current specs.

Please make sure the salesman does not assume, wrongly, that by this note you want to switch out of the PCCB brake. That would be a huge mistake!

I agree that the yellow brake would clash with the red stitching. I think the option would be a. to switch to yellow stitching and belt (IMO a much more beautiful combination with black leather than the red stitching would -- but this is just a matter of personal preference), or b. have the caliper painted red after taking delivery.

BTW, the Lambo is one of the best car I've ever driven. Congrats.
This has been a great post for information. Glad I have read it. Good luck with your order and make sure to post pics when you get her!!

On the calipers and stitching, it's really personal taste and whatever turns your fancy. If it were me, I'd stick to yellow and add the instrument dials in speed yellow (or guards red if you decide to paint the calipers red).

Good luck!

I would think the DAW would be slightly more prone to scratching as it is a shiny finish and DAX is more a dull finish. I don't wear a ring on my shifting hand and have had no problems with scratches or dulling but I only have about 2500 miles on my car and it is a year old.

DAX

Here is the final list that I have come up with.

<st1:city w:st="on"><st1>Carrara</st1></st1:city> White – B4
Black Leather – AT
Side skirts – XAJ
Red tail lights – XXF
Sunroof – 650
Sport Shifter – XCZ
Sport chrono – 640
LSD – 220
PCCB – 450
Floor mats with red trim – CF 810
Seat belts in Red – XSX
Heated Seats – 342
Adaptive Sports Seats – P01
Defroster in leather – XV1
Inner Sill in leather – XTG
Light dome leather – XZD
Sun visor leather – XMP
Rear section of center console leather – XMZ
Porsche crest – XSC
Sports seat back leather – XSB
Steering column casing leather – XNS
Thicker steering XPA
Additional Carbon package – EAH
DAW and CDZ – Note – red deviated stitching required
Ipod integration – 870
Prep for Mobile phone – 619
Porsche RS Spyder rims – yet to get confirmation code
Rear foot well light – CEE
LED Storage light – CEF
Aluminum foot rest – XXZ
Fuse box leather – CUJ
Model logo on storage lid – CUV
Leather rear view mirror – CVW
Door entry guard , carbon , illuminated – CXD
Head light cleaner cover in ext color – CGA
Spoiler lip painted – CNE
Lower apron painted – CNG
09991 (Guards red)
24891 (Guards red)
24901
24902
24904
24905
24923 ( not sure if req since I chose 24904)
<o></o>
Should I go for CUR – PCM in leather or will it be too much leather?
Now I think that the EAH package would gel well with the leather interior and deviated stitching. I think this package adds just about the right quantity of CF and looks good , but I am open for opinions. Also, with DAW , do I specify CDZ or is it included ?
Please advise
I think by the end of it, the interior should be something like :

Check what you are getting with 24923 - I think it is actually changing the color of the leather on the side panels of the console - nothing to do with stitching. Maybe somebody could confirm this. You could end up with red leather on the side panels of the front (vertical) part of the console where the PCM, climate control, etc are.

CDZ IS included with DAW

I have CUR in my car and love it - see picture below. I have the old style PCM that would have been gray without ordering leather. I didn't know CUR was available on the 2009s. Must have been recently added or available in some countries and not others.

Guys ? Any advice? This is my final list before I send it to the dealership. Please chime in your thoughts as I think this combination of leather / CF / Aluminum would work.

Edit : Already had XAJ in the original list.

Ha! Just noticed that you chose the exact same CF option as I did!

Would you be better off with bluetooth vs cell phone prep?

Other than that, it looks like you have ordered everything you can!

Make sure to show us the pics when your beauty arrives!!

You may want to consider the instrument surround in leather or carbon. It is black plastic standard.

Our cars are very similar

Yes, I noticed that and edited it out of my post but you saw it before I had a chance to edit.

Just got confirmation from my dealer that my Turbo would be the ONLY turbo in India with RS Spyder rims and probably the last GT1 engine bloc Turbo as they have stopped taking orders for 09 models and started taking order for the updated TT! Wo hoo!
Thanks to fellow member GEE - BEE for giving me the idea! More heart felt thanks to members who helped me out when I place the order (in a few days!)

This will be one well optioned car! CUR was not available when I ordered and it looks fine without it. I am sure it looks great with CUR too though.

As said above DAW includes CDZ.

You may as well add 509-Fire Extinguisher. The red will look good with your stitching.
