Clutch Slipping or Traction Control

So I am having this issue when I am in second and I shift to third gear or third to 4th gear while heavy into the gas and only when I shift out early like around 4K. The tach seems to jump up near red line and for a split second it seems like the clutch is not engaging. This slipping does not occur if I shift closer to redline but rather just when I am in on the gas and shift out early. Has anyone else experienced this?

I also noticed that when I have the traction control off this does not happen as often. I tried a few tests such as putting the car in 6th gear at low speeds and hammering the gas in which the car accelerates just fine; no slipping issues.

Any ideas?

Anything lighting up on the dash when you feel like the clutch may be slipping. When I break traction a light comes on.

Your not experiencing wheelspin short shifting into 3rd or 4th gear, also traction control doesn't raise your rpm.

Slipping clutch. Did you try it in Sport mode? Try it in 5th gear with overboost. If it does the same thing, it's time for a new clutch.
